You will be joining a leading national infrastructure and highways services provider, working on a major long-term highways maintenance and improvement contract in the Hampshire region. Your New Role
A freelance Quantity Surveyor position where you will support the commercial team on a large highways framework, managing cost and value reporting, preparing quarterly forecasts, administering contract changes under NEC processes, managing subcontractor accounts, overseeing reconciliations and final accounts, and completing site visits to ensure commercial control. You will work closely with operational teams to maintain budget accuracy and support wider commercial duties as required.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- A recognised Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong commercial background in construction
- Highways or civil engineering experience is beneficial but not essential
- Good understanding of NEC contracts
- Confident communication and negotiation skills
