We are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to join our Yorkshire team, based in Wakefield. The main purpose of the Commercial Manager role is to manage the day-to-day commercial operations for the business with the assistance of the regional commercial team and support the Commercial Director with implementation of the commercial strategy.
Responsibilities- Oversee procurement of all necessary trades and materials to deliver regional forecast
- Carry out monthly commercial review of all current projects with each project surveyor
- Preparation of monthly management report for review with Commercial Director
- Ensure that all commercial and general Miller Group policies and procedures are complied with by the team
- Extensive experience working in a senior Commercial role with a Housebuilder
- Negotiation skills and the ability to influence the decision making process to meet business targets
- Able to review and analyse information accurately
- Knowledge and experience with software systems used within a Commercial role (Cognos/Anaplan and JDE desirable)
- Competitive basic salary
- Company car or car allowance of £5,850
