About the Role:
Is 2026 the year you support a multi-million-pound store and help to lead a diverse and talented team? The Assistant Store Manager role is your chance for a fresh start, putting you right into the centre of our fast-paced, dynamic environment. One day could find you supporting the Store Manager with sorting out deliveries, placing orders or dealing with customer queries. The next, you might be focused on people management and performance or organising holiday rotas for the team. At the same time, you’ll help to handle the over-riding goals of maximising sales in your store, ensuring great customer service, minimising costs and optimising operational efficiency. It means you’ll be more than prepared to step into the Store Manager’s shoes in their absence. Our Assistant Store Managers are passionate about doing well; motivating and developing their teams to deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with deliveries, placing orders and addressing customer queries.
- Focus on people management and performance, or organising holiday rotas for the team.
- Help maximise sales, ensure great customer service, minimise costs and optimise operational efficiency.
- Be prepared to step into the Store Manager’s shoes in their absence.
Qualifications
- An experienced people-manager.
- Used to leading teams in a fast-paced, stakeholder/customer driven environment.
- Skilled in time management and boosting operational efficiency.
- Motivated to consistently achieve targets.
Benefits
- Salary up to £44,310*
- Flexible 40 or 45-hour contracts. You’ll usually work over 5 days, but if it helps you can work a 40-hour contract over 4 days. Work-life balance is important to us!
