A leading defence technology organisation is seeking a Systems Integration Lead to join their Land Ceptor System of Systems team. In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team, integrating a complex land-based air defence product into wider weapon system contexts for export and evolution programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the integration (physical and functional) of the Land Ceptor product across system-of-systems platforms.
- Act as the main technical liaison with international customers, including managing technical working groups and resolving queries.
- Coordinate across internal and external teams to resolve conflicts and ensure timely delivery of system integration work packages.
- Define and agree requirements collaboratively with stakeholders, including System Design Authorities and government organisations.
- Apply systems thinking to drive trade studies and optimise design solutions.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in developing and integrating complex systems, ideally in the defence sector.
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating and agreeing requirement sets across multi-stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with internal teams, external customers, and industrial partners.
- Project engineering expertise with the ability to autonomously lead work packages.
