We are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Engineer to support air source heat pump (ASHP) and HVAC-related installations across commercial sites. The successful candidate will work closely with an AC installation engineer and will be involved in:
- Air source heat pump installations
- HVAC-related plumbing installations
- Chlorination works
- Small plumbing repairs (e.g. valve and pump replacements)
- Sealed system testing
This is a role requiring commercial experience and a proactive, team-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine inspections of plumbing systems
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently
- Complete repairs and maintenance on plumbing fixtures, pipework, and equipment
- Install new plumbing systems as required
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical professionals on complex works
- Respond effectively to plumbing emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Deliver a high standard of customer service on site
- Proven experience ideally within commercial environments
- Relevant plumbing qualifications and accreditations or FGAS certified
- Sound knowledge of mechanical systems and installations
- Exposure to air source heat pumps (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
- IT literate, self-motivated, punctual, and team-oriented
- Physically fit and comfortable working in varied site conditions
- Valid UK driving licence
- CSCS Skills Card
- City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing
- Gas qualifications (not essential)
- FGAS certified
