We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Assistant Branch Manager to support lead our new Stevenage Hub. You’ll be working side-by-side with the Branch Manager to support the team, keep operations on track and make sure our customers are happy. If you’ve got experience in sales, team leadership, and know your way around the automotive or trade world, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Helping to run the branch day-to-day supporting with everything from sales to operations
- Working closely with the Branch Manager to hit targets and grow the business
- Leading, coaching, and supporting your team so they can do their best work
- Making sure stock’s in check and everything’s where it needs to be
- Building great relationships with customers and making sure they’re well looked after
- Taking the reins when the Branch Manager is away
What We’re Looking For
- Some experience in a similar role, maybe you’ve been a team leader or assistant manager before
- A natural leader who enjoys helping others succeed
- Someone who’s commercially aware and not afraid to roll up their sleeves
- Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- A good understanding of the automotive or trade sector (bonus if you’ve worked in it!)
