Assistant Store Manager - Yeovil - Aldi UK in Somerset

This role supports a £multi‑million store and motivates a diverse, talented team. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to sort deliveries, place orders, and respond to customer queries, while also focusing on people management, performance and holiday rota planning. Your goal will be to maximise sales, deliver outstanding customer service, minimise costs and optimise operational efficiency. You must be prepared to step into the Store Manager’s role in their absence. Key Responsibilities Support the Store Manager with day‑to‑day operational tasks. Lead and develop a fast‑paced, customer‑driven team. Manage time effectively and drive operational efficiency. Consistently achieve sales targets. Qualifications Experienced people manager. Strong leadership in a fast‑paced, stakeholder/customer driven environment. Time‑management and operational‑efficiency skills. Results‑oriented attitude and drive to reach targets. Benefits £37,585 – £44,310 (based on a 45‑hour contract).
