Project Coordinator – SCX
SCX is a UK-based engineering company known for delivering complex mechanical handling and kinetic architecture systems across Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, Sports & Entertainment, and Infrastructure sectors.
Purpose of the Role
The Project Coordinator supports Project Managers and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth coordination, clear communication, and successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project planning, schedules, and milestones.
- Act as a communication link between clients, stakeholders, contractors, and teams.
- Support budget tracking, resource allocation, and forecasting.
- Help identify risks/issues and escalates them as needed.
- Maintain documentation, KPIs, and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
- Coordinate team tasks and support project execution.
- Manage change control processes and client communications.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in engineering or project delivery environments preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player.
