We are recruiting a proactive and experienced CNC Programmer to support our client’s operational team in Sheffield. This individual will play a vital role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency and supporting production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S principles.
- Create 3D models and produce 2D technical drawings.
- Generate CNC programmes.
- Develop routing plans for component flow through machine shops.
- Support projects, including custom design work.
About You
- Proficient in offline CNC programming.
- Experience with CAD/CAM and CNC programming.
- Skilled in creating 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience using programme verification tools.
- Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
