We are looking for a skilled EV Engineer to service, repair, and maintain electric vehicle charging points across the South East region, ensuring chargers operate safely and efficiently. This is a field-based, hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach.

Location & Travel
- Covering Kent, South East, Canterbury, Southampton, and occasionally South London
- A central base such as Tunbridge Wells would be ideal
- Typical mileage of up to 1,000 miles per week (varies with workload)
- Overnight stays may be required occasionally (typically 1 night per requirement) – all expenses fully covered
- Early starts are common (around 5am) with a midday finish depending on the schedule
- Company van and fuel card provided
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair EV charging points across locations within the region
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct routine maintenance to meet electrical safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activity
- Deliver clear communication and excellent customer service
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support service delivery
- Stay up to date with industry developments and EV technology advancements
Essential Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
- IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong IT literacy skills
- Desirable ECS card (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with EV charger installation or maintenance
- Additional electrical inspection/testing qualifications
