Building Services Manager – full-time, two-year fixed term. This is a hybrid role based at the Regional Support Office in Warwick or remote/home. Extensive travel to 24 campuses across the UK, Scotland and Ireland.
Overview
Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will optimise regional performance by driving building standards, quality assurance and cost efficiencies. The role develops and delivers a strategic framework that provides “best in class” processes and practices, embedding sustainable building efficiencies, effective design standards and specifications for all core building services.
You will have in-depth knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and other building systems, including their design, operation and maintenance, with responsibility for ensuring the business complies with industry standards, codes of practice, regulations and law. You will work with regional teams to develop and implement design standard specifications, lifecycles planning and contractual service agreements for critical building services, delivering a clear and consistent model for pre-construction through to operational delivery.

Have a thorough understanding of businesses deliverables and priorities, knowing what part you play. Demonstrates and leads project excellence, being a credible and trusted partner within other business functions. Commitment to delivering a great colleague experience and premises. Hands-on, enthusiastic, proactive approach and effective communication at all levels. Self-reliant, motivated with the ability to simplify issues and drive solutions. Ability to learn quickly and work effectively under pressure, doing the right thing for the business. Hold others to consistently delivering agreed project processes and provide feedback for improvement. Proven experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership and design within an Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Building discipline, with CAD experience. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Building or equivalent (CIBSE, CIOB). Uphold the OneSchool Global ethos and values within all areas of responsibility.
