We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (M&E) to join a leading engineering organisation based in Retford. This is an exciting opportunity to manage bespoke projects and installations across the UK, combining office-based and hybrid working.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality projects, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a professional standard. You will also be expected to travel to sites and client meetings across the UK, with occasional international travel in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects efficiently, ensuring operational and budgetary targets are met
- Create detailed project plans and manage progress to achieve milestones
- Lead and motivate project teams, promoting continuous improvement
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring Health & Safety compliance
- Produce accurate forecasts, reports, and manage project cash flow
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership and confident communication skills
- Ability to manage conflicts and maintain professional relationships under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Commercial awareness and decision-making capability
- Experience in M&E project management with multiple stakeholders
- Contract management experience (NEC)
- 5+ years' relevant experience desirable
- Flexibility to travel across the UK (full UK driving licence required)
- Interest or background in engineering/mechanical fields
