You will work closely with suppliers, procurement, engineering, and production teams to resolve quality issues, reduce risk, and support new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier quality performance, including audits, scorecards, and corrective actions
- Lead supplier quality investigations using structured problem‑solving tools (e.g. 8D, Root Cause Analysis)
- Support new supplier qualification and onboarding activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to reduce defects and improve processes
- Review and approve supplier PPAPs, FAIRs, and other quality documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams on change management, deviations, and non‑conformances
- Monitor and report supplier KPIs and quality trends
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements
About You
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Proven experience in a Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality role
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g. PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC)
- Experience working with external suppliers in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites as required
Desirable
- Experience in regulated or high‑reliability manufacturing environments
- Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
- Six Sigma or Lean certification
