The Role: Quality Engineer
We are seeking a Quality Engineer for the structural airframe components section of BUOYANCY AEROSPACE Ltd, UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely under the direction of the Quality Manager.
- Communicate quality issues with customers and suppliers.
- Prepare First article inspection reports.
- Lead/support RCCA activities and the NCR process dealing with non‑conforming products while implementing robust corrective actions.
- Generate, implement, and maintain procedures, processes, work instructions and SOPs.
- Review and manage customer specifications.
- Manage the calibration system.
- Conduct internal audits to schedule.
- Support customer and regulatory audits.
- Support the reporting of KPIs.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- AS9100 Internal auditor certification.
- Previous experience as Quality engineer in the aerospace industry.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of AS9100 QMS requirements.
- IT literate.
- Self‑motivated and proactive.
