Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical works on renewable energy and infrastructure projects. This role covers the full project lifecycle—from design through to completion—ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency across multiple sites. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to manage programmes, control costs, and maintain high standards of technical and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise electrical construction programmes to meet deadlines
- Control installation costs while maintaining quality standards
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Lead and motivate site teams, adapting strategies as needed
- Take ownership of safety management for all electrical activities
- Review drawings and specifications for compliance
- Coordinate procurement of electrical materials and equipment
- Maintain quality records and resolve technical challenges
- Prepare and evaluate risk assessments and method statements
The Ideal Candidate
- Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (HND, B.Eng, or M.Eng)
- 5–10 years’ site experience in electrical project delivery
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in electrical projects
- Strong understanding of electrical systems for renewable energy or infrastructure
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required
- Eligible to work in the UK with a valid UK driving licence
- Full UK Working Rights
