Overview
Burton Upon Trent. We’re working with a leading FMCG manufacturing business that has recently invested £50+ million into its site, technology, and infrastructure. They are looking to appoint an experienced Project Engineer to support and deliver a diverse portfolio of engineering projects.
The Role
As Project Engineer, you’ll take full ownership of projects from initial concept through to completion, including:
- Managing multiple engineering and capital projects end-to-end
- Defining project scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and handover into production
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer within an FMCG manufacturing environment (essential)
- Strong background delivering projects from start to finish
- Experience managing capital expenditure projects
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and high-speed production environments
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
