We are partnering with a leading Lloyd's/London market insurer on significant growth within their actuarial pricing function.
Responsibilities
- Lead on an area of business with exposure across classes and direct management for a small team of part-qualified actuaries.
- Partner with underwriters, providing analytical expertise and actuarial thought leadership from a pricing perspective. This includes owning pricing models, profitability monitoring, underwriting performance assessment, input into pricing strategy and motivating the pricing team.
- Collaborate across lines of business including property, marine, energy, cyber, liability, A&H and others.
Profile / Requirements
- Typically a qualified actuary with property, casualty and/or specialty pricing experience. However, those with similar experience and without the actuarial designation should also apply.
- Prior management or supervisory experience is advantageous and could be a stepping stone to this level.
