Overview
Our client, a well-established professional services firm with a reputation for delivering exceptional service to businesses and individuals across the UK, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their Oxfordshire office and play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services for a varied client base.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK payroll legislation.
- Calculate and process statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, and pension contributions.
- Prepare and submit RTI filings and liaise with HMRC on payroll matters.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and respond promptly and professionally to client queries.
- Support year-end processes, including P60s and P11Ds.
- Contribute to process improvements and best-practice initiatives within the payroll function.

- Proven experience in a payroll role within a payroll bureau environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications.
