We’re looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead complex capital and facilities projects within a highly technical, regulated environment. This role sits at the heart of infrastructure delivery, combining hands‑on engineering expertise with full project ownership.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading engineering and facilities projects from concept through to commissioning and handover
- Managing budgets, schedules, contractors, and technical delivery
- Overseeing MEP systems, plant, utilities, and laboratory infrastructure
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP, EHS, and site standards
- Producing specifications, technical documentation, and capital proposals
- Supporting validation and commissioning activities
- Managing and mentoring a small project support team
- Acting as a key technical interface with internal stakeholders and external partners
What We’re Looking For
- Strong project engineering background within facilities, manufacturing, or regulated environments
- Proven experience delivering capital projects end to end
- Sound understanding of compliance, safety, and engineering standards
- Comfortable supervising contractors and managing multiple workstreams
- Methodical, organised, and technically credible
- Based in or able to commute to Oxford
