About The Role
We are working in partnership with an NHS service in Oxford to recruit an experienced and motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join a supportive, forward‑thinking team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a senior member of the Cardiac Physiology team, delivering a full range of diagnostic and treatment services, including Echocardiography and Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM).
- Practise as an independent echocardiography practitioner, with the ability to take a lead or supportive role in CRM activities.
- Support the development and delivery of cardiac services, contributing to training, procurement, and service improvement initiatives.
- Provide education, supervision, and assessment for colleagues and learners in both group and one-to-one settings.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and the implementation of best practice in line with current cardiology standards.
Person Specification
Qualifications – Essential
- BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent
- BSE accreditation in Echocardiography
Qualifications – Desirable
- Evidence of ongoing CPD
- Teaching and/or assessing qualification
- BHRS / IBHRE accreditation
Experience – Essential
- Experience caring for patients with cardiac conditions
- Experience delivering teaching and assessment in group and one-to-one settings
- Involvement in service development
