My client is a fast-growing restaurant group entering an exciting phase of expansion in London, following strong success elsewhere in the UK. They are now seeking an Operations & Projects Assistant to work closely with the CEO and support the delivery of day-to-day operations during a period of rapid growth.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys structure and execution, and is comfortable turning plans into action. In practice, this role acts as a right-hand support to the CEO, with exposure across multiple areas of the business.
You will work across operations, projects and internal coordination, helping to build operational structure and momentum as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities- Support the CEO across day-to-day operational activity and priority projects
- Coordinate and deliver projects from brief through to execution
- Support activity across marketing, HR, reporting and new site launches
- Conduct research and analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure actions are followed through
- Help implement structure, processes and ways of working during a high-growth phase
- Provide occasional out-of-hours or weekend support when required, with the role primarily Monday to Friday
- 2–5 years’ experience within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of operations and commercial basics, including P&L awareness
- Highly organised, proactive and delivery-driven
- Comfortable working in ambiguity, change and evolving environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Takes ownership, accountability and follow-through seriously
