Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting for a Quality Inspector for their site near Nuneaton. Reporting to the Chief Inspector, the role will involve undertaking CMM, visual, dimensional, and final inspections of precision aerospace parts and components.
Responsibilities- Performing CMM, manual, visual, and final inspections to ensure all products meet company and customer quality requirements.
- Coordinating subcontract and despatch processes, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate production and inspection records.
- Evaluating products using inspection data, liaising with production and quality teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
- Supporting smooth production flow through prioritised inspections, assisting operators with quality concerns, and promoting lean manufacturing principles.
- Developing and improving CMM inspection methods, delivering technical training, and supporting new product introduction projects.
- Well-versed inspecting precision components with a range of measurement tools.
- Capable of understanding engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Previous experience in a relevant role within a highly regulated industry.
