AKP are an AS9100D accredited machine shop specialising in high quality Mill / Turn components.
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Solidcam Programmer located in Norfolk. The Solidcam Programmer will be responsible for creating, programming, and maintaining CNC programs using Solidcam software. Additional tasks include collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimise production processes, troubleshooting programming issues, and ensuring accurate translation of designs into executable instructions. Quality assurance and continual improvement will be key aspects of the role. Support of our Solidcam trained apprentice is also considered an essential requirement.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Solidcam software and CNC machining programming, in particular Mill / Turn
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is an advantage
- Relevant technical certifications or education in programming, software, or engineering fields
