Overview
At GNAW, we make great quality, premium chocolate, have impeccable ethical sourcing & sustainability credentials, and are launching product innovation to delight our customers. We are a professional chocolate manufacturing business in the growth phase of our brand journey and are expanding our sales team with a new Customer Account Manager to help drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing customer accounts and develop winning customer plans to grow revenue.
- Prospect for new opportunities within specific channels and routes to market, and build your prospect pipeline.
- Understand and translate customer needs into sound business plans to drive growth; listen effectively and ask questions to uncover hidden needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on customer requirements and consider core elements of the P&L when building commercial proposals.
- Travel as needed to meet customers and attend trade shows; role is full-time and office-based in Norwich.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working within a B2B sales / commercial team.
- Experience within the FMCG or confectionery sector is desirable but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, and a fearless, resilient, and focused attitude with a can-do approach.
- Excellent listening and questioning skills to uncover customer needs.
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent experience; well organized and numerate; ability to build a commercial business proposal considering core P&L elements.
- Office-based in Norwich; willingness to travel; UK driver’s license required.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 per annum, dependant upon experience.
