Join our latest project! We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex marine and subsea equipment projects. This is a hands-on, project-focused engineering role, ideal for a well-rounded professional who enjoys working across design, production, and commissioning stages. You will play a key part in integrating systems, driving design reviews, and ensuring successful delivery of innovative subsea solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between Project Management and Engineering, working independently to coordinate technical activities.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, respond to Technical Queries, and maintain action trackers across engineering teams.
- Field project-related questions on system integration and interfaces, ensuring clear communication between internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Liaise across multiple functions - Production, Purchasing, Commissioning, Quality, and Finance - to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and review core engineering documents, including:
- Design directives and standards
- Test, commissioning, and installation procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marine, shipbuilding, subsea or related fields (off-shore etc).
- Project engineering experience – Planning and team management, risk mitigation planning, commissioning.
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, with the ability to manipulate and interrogate 3D models on a daily basis.
- Exposure to heavy fabrication processes is advantageous.
- Excellent ability to interpret engineering requirements, solve problems, and communicate effectively across disciplines.
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders from both technical and contractual perspectives.
- Flexible mindset and willingness to contribute across varied projects.
