Overview

We are working with our client who are a successful onshore/offshore company based in Wallsend in their search for a Mechanic. Your role will be maintaining and repairing a range of plant and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair plant and machinery
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
• Identify faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
• Keep accurate records of work completed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic working with plant and machinery
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications or certifications (preferred)
