The Company
A $500m global confectionery branded business which continues to experience unprecedented growth across both UK and international markets, driven by exceptional consumer purchasing, fueling ever-increasing rates-of-sale through high street retail and grocery retail multiple accounts.
The Role
This is a new NAM position which will take full responsibility including P&L for a portfolio of southern based Wholesale national accounts including Booker Wholesale, Bestway and Dhamecha etc. Reporting to the Wholesale Channel Lead your key objectives will be to create and implement compelling account business development strategies to drive national product listings, depot distribution and range merchandising all focussed on increasing profitable sales growth.
Above all, the role is about connecting with the brand’s personality and going out each day to ‘SELL’ the brands product proposition with authority, energy, enthusiasm and ambition to achieve your commercial objectives.
About You
Having developed your FMCG sales career with food or drink brands you have been well trained in the art of modern selling skills and have now progressed up to NAE/J.NAM or NAM level which must include experience and a strong understanding of the major UK Wholesale national accounts.
Being ambitious you are looking to progress your career with a new NAM challenge where you will have the freedom to act and take commercially minded decisions… all focussed on driving profitable sales growth.
You have gained experience with modern account management activities which should include selling NPD-new listings, negotiation including CPI’s, promotional planning and trading terms, together with presenting and influencing consumer insight category-led, fact-based selling at head office level.
You are hardworking, highly capable together with a naturally engaging and highly personable style with the ability to communicate at all internal and external management levels. Future management development potential is also a key ingredient for this important appointment.
