The Role & Team
You’ll join a Service Desk team of 6, supporting a fast-paced, high-availability environment:
- 1 × Student Placement (1st Line)
- 2 × Junior Engineers
- 3 × Support Engineers
This is a hands-on technical role with added responsibility, including mentoring junior engineers and acting as a reliable escalation point.
Technology & Responsibilities
You’ll be working across a modern IT estate, supporting both cloud and on-prem systems, including:
- Azure Active Directory
- Exchange
- Intune
- Windows Servers
Your focus will be on maintaining system reliability, resolving issues quickly, and supporting a business where downtime is not an option.
Experience & Fit
- 2–3 years’ experience in an IT Support / Service Desk role
- Strong troubleshooting skills and confidence owning issues end-to-end
- Comfortable supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Background from any industry considered
Location, Salary & Bonus
- 5 days per week on-site in Milton Keynes
- Flexibility supported where needed
- Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 basic
- Up to £45,000 for a standout candidate
- Bonus: Up to £15,000 based on team performance
- Historically consistent bonus payouts
