Structural Engineer (2–5 Years’ Experience) – Manchester city centre. Package is 35k – 48k dependent on experience plus extensive benefits including hybrid working. We are working with a large international engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer for their Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team delivering prestigious and technically challenging projects across the UK.
Responsibilities
You will be involved in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to detailed design. Responsibilities include producing structural analysis and finite element models, detailed calculations, sketches, and technical specifications. You’ll work with a wide range of materials and advanced digital engineering tools across multiple sectors. As your experience develops, you will be supported toward Chartership and given increasing technical responsibility within project teams.
Qualifications
MEng / BEng (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering
2–5 years’ experience in a structural engineering role in the UK
Strong understanding of structural analysis and FEM
Tekla Structures proficiency is essential
Organised, collaborative, and commercially aware
Confident communicator with a proactive approach
