- Work closely with Product and Engineering to define clear acceptance criteria and test scenarios early in the lifecycle
- Design, maintain, and execute test plans for new features, regressions, and releases
- Build and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications
- Carry out manual testing where automation is not appropriate or where exploratory testing adds value
- Ensure quality standards are applied consistently across multiple teams and projects
- Support release validation and production readiness
- Investigate defects, work closely with developers on root cause analysis, and ensure issues are resolved effectively
- Improve QA processes, tooling, and documentation
- Mentor developers and other team members on quality best practices
About You (Skills and Experience):
- Strong experience as a Senior QA Engineer in a modern software delivery environment
- Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Experience testing e-commerce platforms, ideally at scale
- Strong experience with automated testing for web applications
- Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android
- Confidence working with APIs and backend services
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- A pragmatic approach to quality, knowing when to automate and when manual testing is more effective
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have:
- Experience with headless or composable commerce architectures
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI pipelines
- Experience working with Magento based platforms
- Experience working in teams transitioning towards more mature Agile practices
