I’m recruiting for a privately owned, engineering-led manufacturer supplying specialist electrical equipment into critical infrastructure, renewables, power distribution, and defence sectors. This role suits a hands-on Quality Engineer who wants to be close to the product – not stuck behind a desk.
The Role
You’ll support the Compliance Director, manage ISO-driven quality processes, lead audits, work with suppliers, and spend up to 50% of your time on the shopfloor understanding how things are made. Clear progression into senior quality responsibility.
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years in a Quality role (manufacturing/engineering)
- Strong ISO 9001:2015 knowledge (internal auditing essential)
