A leading hospitality business based in Greater Manchester has a rare opportunity for a lawyer from an EL/PL background to join the team. This role offers the chance to generalise into a wider scope within the legal department.

The Role
As an In-house Legal Counsel reporting to the General Counsel you will provide legal advice across the business, advising on legal risks, contracts, commercial operations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice across the group, including contract, corporate and EL/PL work.

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.

Support property transactions, acquisitions, and lease arrangements.

Liaise with external counsel when specialist advice is required.

Ensure the group complies with all relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR, health & safety, consumer law).

Assist with dispute resolution and litigation as needed.

Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on legal matters.

Requirements
To be considered for the role you will be a UK qualified solicitor with experience in EL/PL claims. Experience working in-house or advising hospitality, retail, or property clients is desirable but not essential.
