The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We have an exclusive maternity cover, Home-Based Specifications role for a multi-site food manufacturing group. Our client is a well established food group who have invested heavily across their UK infrastructure and will continue to grow their UK based operations. This is a maternity cover role with a minimum of 9 months on offer but most likely it will be 12 months work. The role is fully home based with travel to one of the sites once a week only. On occasion this may require an overnight stay, so no more than 1-2 days a week travel.
In regards to salary I am keen to speak to day rate contractors and as well as individuals who are open to a full time fixed term contract. If this option is preferred I have a very competitive salary, car allowance and excellent benefits package on offer. Happy to discuss a day rate within reason due to length of contract.
Responsibilities- You will have 1 direct report and you will ensure the effective and efficient management of customer and supplier specifications including finished product, ingredients and packaging working over a variety of bespoke hard copy, web and electronic platforms.
- Specifications must be accurate, comprehensive and fully compliant with company, customer and regulatory requirements.
- Food Science /Industry background
- Thorough understanding of GFSI Food Safety and Quality Systems
- Knowledge of AIB, Religious & Regulatory audits
- Proficient in the use of PC, MS Office and Web based tools.
