Up to £55,000 basic (DOE) + commission. We’re delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded education recruitment agency that has been operating successfully for nearly 20 years. The business is known nationally for its strong reputation, long-standing school partnerships, and personalised, consultative approach to recruitment.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Branch Manager to lead their Manchester operation.
The Role
This is a hands-on billing leadership role. You’ll be responsible for managing a small team of junior consultants, while also running your own low-volume, quality-focused desk. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, developing people, and continuing to grow the branch’s presence across the education sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overall responsibility for branch performance
- Managing, supporting and mentoring junior consultants
- Billing on your own small desk alongside leadership duties
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with schools and candidates
- New business generation and account development
- Monitoring performance, KPIs and compliance
- Reporting financial and performance data to senior leadership
- Ensuring company processes and values are upheld across the branch
About You
- Proven experience within education recruitment (essential)
- At least 2+ years’ agency recruitment experience
- Experience managing or mentoring consultants
- Strong billing background with a quality-led approach
- Confident leader with excellent organisation and communication skills
- Motivated, commercial and hands-on
