Our client is a market leader in their industry, seeking a maintenance team leader to join their team in Coalville. The role will be responsible for a 4-man team and cover the site's machinery maintenance.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead the shift maintenance team
- Report out on shift maintenance team activities
- Ensure team works to high standards of health & safety to meet or exceed legislative requirements & company standards
- Deputise for Shift Manager if they are not on site
- Ensure shift team are following reporting protocols and carrying out maintenance reporting through CMMS system
- Ensure shift team are filling out Major Breakdown Reports as required
- Lead completion of TPM/PPM activities
- Constantly monitor each stage of the process
- Ensure correct spare parts are identified and fitted to operate safely
- Rectify all stoppages/malfunctions, escalating for support when appropriate
- Ensure that the team always follow the site PPE policy
Essential Experience And Qualifications:
- ONC level 3 diploma in relevant field of engineering but HNC in Engineering preferred
- Siemens S7 PLC training
- Fanuc Robot Training
- Good working knowledge of PLCs and all associated controlled automated equipment
- Competent in fault diagnosis on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Fault diagnosis and repairs
- Understanding of systems operation related to electrical/mechanical faults
