The Role
Compass Associates are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a highly regarded care provider to appoint a Registered Home Manager for a large, well-established nursing home in Maidstone. The home provides general nursing, nursing dementia, residential and dementia care to elderly residents. You will be supported by an experienced Deputy Manager and an established Regional Manager, ensuring you have the autonomy and resources required to drive quality, compliance and performance. The provider has a strong reputation for internal progression and is committed to investing in its leadership teams.
The Candidate
You will be a visible, hands-on leader with experience managing elderly nursing homes and a genuine passion for dementia care. You will lead from the front, developing and retaining high-performing teams through effective recruitment, training and engagement strategies. A strong working knowledge of the CQC framework is essential, alongside a history of positive inspection outcomes. You will also demonstrate sound financial and commercial awareness to ensure the home operates efficiently and profitably.
Interview Process
The interview process consists of three stages, beginning with an initial informal chemistry call followed by two formal interviews with the Senior Leadership Team.
Location
The home’s Maidstone location offers easy access from Ashford, Canterbury, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Dartford, Gravesend, Sittingbourne and the Medway Towns, supported by excellent transport links across Kent and into London.
