Company Overview: Leggwork is working with a leading name in Land and Utility surveying, currently engaged on some of the UK's largest and most high-profile infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of work across civil engineering, highways and utilities frameworks, they are now looking to bring in a Senior Utility Surveyor to support delivery across major schemes throughout the South East. This is an opportunity to step into a senior role within a forward-thinking survey business, where your technical input will help shape nationally significant infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and conducting Utility and PAS128 surveys to a high technical standard
- Mentoring junior surveyors and supporting team development on site
- Using a range of specialist equipment including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Cat and Genny
- Reviewing and compiling survey data for reporting and client submission
- Liaising with clients, engineers and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Maintaining strong health and safety standards on site
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Formal surveying qualification such as QCF, ProQual Level 5 or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Utility surveying with strong knowledge of PAS128
- Proficiency with GPR and electromagnetic location tools
- Ability to lead or supervise a team on site
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and working practices within civil infrastructure
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
- Background in civil engineering, highways, construction or utilities sectors
- CSCS or equivalent site card
