An established UK main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services Manager (Electrical Bias) to support the delivery of a major industrial scheme in Surrey. The project includes a large industrial facility alongside a 240-space car park incorporating EV charging infrastructure, delivered for a well-known high-volume online retailer. This is a technically interesting project with a strong sustainability and future-proofing focus.
As Technical Services Manager, you will take full ownership of the electrical building services package, working closely with design consultants, subcontractors, and the wider construction team to ensure technical compliance and smooth delivery from design through to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the electrical design and coordination process
- Review and manage technical submissions, RFIs, and design changes
- Ensure installations comply with regulations, specifications, and client requirements
- Work closely with commercial and site teams to manage risk and resolve technical issues
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities
- Act as the main technical point of contact for electrical services on the project
About You:
- Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager or similar role
- Strong electrical bias with solid building services knowledge
- Experience delivering projects within industrial, logistics, or commercial environments
