We’re seeking an interim S&OP leader to accelerate process transformation, build team capability, and embed robust end-to-end planning at a rapidly evolving, values-driven enterprise in the health and wellbeing sector.
Why this role matters:
The business is on a significant transformation journey, with S&OP processes in their infancy. Current commercial forecasting capabilities are fragmented, causing friction between sales and operations. What you’ll do:
- Lead the acceleration of S&OP process change and embed best-in-class planning practices.
- Assess and develop the capability of commercial and supply chain teams.
- Map the end-to-end planning process, creating clear ownership across functions.
- Partner with the Operations Director and senior supply chain leadership to enhance product availability and operational performance.
- Deliver a day impact plan: Discovery and assessment (30 days), Implementation of improvements (60 days), and tangible results and “green shoots” of change (90 days).
About you:
- Experience: Strong supply chain planning expertise, with demonstrable S&OP leadership - ideally from a medium to large enterprise. Proven experience in building or maturing S&OP processes from scratch.
- Commercial Savvy: Skilled at working collaboratively with commercial teams to improve forecasting and alignment.
- Leadership Style: Empathetic yet driven.
- Cultural Fit: Enthusiastic, hands-on, and committed to leaving a lasting, positive impact. Comfortable operating in a dynamic, change-oriented environment.
Logistics & Contract Details:
- Contract: 6 months, outside IR35.
- Location: London and Dorset office requirements.
- Start Date: ASAP.
This is a rare opportunity to shape and embed S&OP processes at a business undergoing rapid transformation, partnering closely with senior leadership while leaving a lasting operational legacy.
If you’re ready to bring your expertise, influence, and leadership to a dynamic, purpose-driven business, we’d love to hear from you.
