Our client, a cutting-edge fintech business, is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (Java SDET) to strengthen their automated testing framework and drive software quality to the highest standards. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about automation, exploratory testing, and collaborating with experienced developers in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Expand and improve automated acceptance / end-to-end tests
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and ensure robustness
- Pair with developers to enhance testing infrastructure for continuous delivery
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in software quality
Essential Experience
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming in Java (ideally Core Java)
- Proven background as an SDET
- Component testing, end-to-end testing & failure scenario testing
- Exploratory testing
Desirable Experience
- Continuous Delivery & CI/CD environments
- API & UI Testing (Selenium)
- Event-driven systems & messaging protocols
- Extreme Programming & Pair Programming
- Performance / Low Latency experience
- Low Level coding
