CMC are working with a client in the Defence / Space sector who needs an immediate Technical Lead Senior RF Systems Engineer on a critical V-Band High Power Amplifier / Block Upconverter development programme. This is a hands-on Systems role. The successful contractor will take ownership of the RF engineering workstream, acting as the technical authority while working closely with a small, highly capable internal team.
Responsibilities
- Lead RF budgets, integration, validation, and performance delivery for the RF workstream.
- Work with mmWave / microwave RF systems (V-Band highly desirable).
- Experience with High Power Amplifiers (TWTA, GaN SSPA, hybrid HPAs).
- Support SATCOM uplink hardware, BUCs, and waveguide architectures.
