Sales Consultant
Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients in a shop/retail environment and helping them find their inspiration through style, design, storytelling.
- Consulting about interior and furniture, advising customers by providing information on products.
- Helping customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
- Documenting sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
- Receiving deliveries and ensuring recommended merchandising and labelling.
- Arranging deliveries to clients and dealing with post-sales customer service.
- Keeping clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Contributing to team effort by identifying high-value projects.
- Identifying prospective clients and working with existing accounts to generate new creative ideas/projects, develop proposals, execute orders, and ensure quality and consistency of service and product delivery.
Qualifications
- You have excellent customer service skills.
- You are energetic with a friendly approach to sales and good telephone manners.
- You are into interior design and sensitive to colours and fabrics.
- You have the ability to read floor plans and advise clients on space planning.
- You are computer literate.
- Relevant sales experience in furniture is preferable.
- A knowledge of the French language is appreciated.
