Hi. We’re working with a well established organisation operating within the retail sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced Store Manager to lead the day to day operations of a busy store environment. This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for store performance, team management, customer experience, and operational standards. The successful candidate will be confident running a store autonomously while working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial and service objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Lead, manage and motivate the store team, including recruitment, training, performance management and rota planning
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered
  • Manage stock control, ordering, merchandising and visual presentation
  • Oversee cash handling, tills, banking and compliance with financial procedures
  • Ensure health & safety, security and operational policies are followed at all times
  • Monitor store performance against targets and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers
