The Regional Design Manager plays a pivotal role within our business as clients rely on Collen for design expertise and management skills. The Regional Design Manager will manage the Collen Design Management Teams in Ireland and the United Kingdom, focusing on project delivery across various sectors.
Reporting to the Technical Director on a functional basis and the Construction/Project Director(s) from an operational basis, the key requirements are:
- Manage the Collen Design Management Teams in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
- Focus on project delivery across sectors within the regions of operations.
- Report to the Technical Director on a functional basis and to the Construction/Project Director(s) on an operational basis.
- Travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree (or other relevant professional qualification) in Architecture, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Design Management within the construction industry, preferably in large-scale contracting projects.
- Strong understanding of D&B projects (Public and Private) in Ireland and the UK.
- Excellent management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
