We are seeking a highly organised Project Manager Officer to deliver a strategic change roadmap at the intersection of technology and business operations. The role provides strong project governance, PMO discipline, and change management leadership across process, technology, and organisational initiatives. You will act as a trusted delivery lead, able to operate confidently across insurance, finance, and technology domains, supporting business change with consistency and rigour.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Governance & Delivery
- Plan and deliver multiple concurrent initiatives using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Maintain high-quality project artefacts, including plans, RAID logs, and budget trackers.
- Produce clear, executive-level reporting for governance forums and steering groups.
- Track project budgets, manage forecasts, and support vendor or procurement processes.
- Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Assess business and user impacts of process or system change.
- Deliver structured change communications to build engagement and adoption.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders at all levels.
- Coordinate UAT and oversee training delivery to support successful go-live.
- Business & Finance Integration
- Partner with business leads to document current and future-state processes.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage delivery and operational risk.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience within insurance or other regulated environments.
- Strong project management capability across full delivery lifecycles.
- Proven change management experience (formal methodologies preferred).
- Excellent project administration and documentation skills.
- Confident stakeholder management with the ability to balance rigour and empathy.
- Experience using common PM and delivery tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps).
- Exposure to finance systems change or enterprise technology implementations.
- Recognised project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, APMG).
