A leading client is looking for an experienced Occupational Health Technician to join a small, friendly OH team. This home‑based role involves extensive travel across the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering health surveillance, health monitoring and health screening to teams and engineering staff and some fitness for work assessments as required per clinical protocol.
- Working with regional teams to plan and co‑ordinate delivery of the services.
- Operating within clinical protocol and delivering the highest quality of services to teams.
- Providing input into health‑related policies.
- Managing health surveillance records on OPAS‑G2.
- Escalating any clinical issues in a timely manner to the Occupational Health Team as required.
- Supporting the function to move to SEQOSH (Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service) accreditation.
- Being involved in other ad‑hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications Required
- Essential – Occupational Health Technician Training and Experience.
- Desirable – Recognised certification from an accredited training institute for Audiometry, Spirometry, Skin Surveillance and HAVS (Hand‑arm Vibration Syndrome) level 2.
Experience Required
- Essential – Experience of delivering high‑quality OHT services to multi‑site organisations.
- Desirable – Emergency Services/Responder organisation.

- Is passionate about providing a high quality and effective Health Surveillance / Fitness for Work Programme to a complex and geographically diverse organisation, and thrives on travel.
