Overview
MOBILE DEVELOPER (Contract – 6 Months) Remote / Hybrid
Propellerfish builds tech that helps the world’s most admired companies understand people — at scale, and in depth. Our platform enables clients like Meta, PepsiCo, PayPal, Mondelez, Logitech, and Bumble to gather rich human insight through video, audio, writing, photography, and structured tasks, all distilled with AI and expert consulting.
We’re looking for an experienced mobile developer to join us for a 6-month contract to rebuild our mobile app from the ground up. Version 1 taught us a lot. Now we know exactly what this app needs to do — and we want to rebuild it in a way that’s elegant, scalable, and a joy to use.
What You’ll Do
- Rebuild our mobile app from scratch with scale, performance, and polish in mind
- Own key architectural and technical decisions
- Work closely with our Head of Development and collaborate with our CTO
- Translate clear product intent into a best-in-class mobile experience
- Ship confidently, test rigorously, and iterate thoughtfully
What We’re Looking For
- A strong track record of shipping high-quality mobile apps that are live and have scaled well
- Deep experience developing hybrid apps (Flutter)
- Clear technical judgement and strong product instincts
- Collaborative, curious, rigorous, and detail-oriented
- Someone who takes pride in building great products
This starts as a 6-month contract, with scope to revisit based on impact and need once the new app is live. If you’ve built mobile products you’re proud of and want to help rebuild a core platform used around the world, we’d love to talk.
