Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance & Travel Expenses
As the MEP Digital Engineering & BIM Manager, you'll be responsible for leading MEP BIM strategy and implementation for a prestigious commercial project in the London area. You'll work closely with project teams, design consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure coordinated digital delivery, model integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead BIM delivery for MEP disciplines across pre-construction and construction phases
- Develop and implement MEP-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and ensure alignment with ISO 19650
- Coordinate federated models, clash detection and resolution processes (Navisworks / Solibri)
- Support the integration of digital tools into MEP workflows (e.g., Revit MEP, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Oversee data integrity, asset tagging, COBie outputs and digital handover
- Provide technical leadership, training, and support to in-house MEP teams and external stakeholders
- Work closely with MEP subcontractors to ensure compliant model delivery and data exchange
Requirements
- Extensive experience in MEP BIM coordination or management roles within main contracting or major subcontracting
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and digital delivery processes
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM 360, and associated digital engineering platforms
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 and UK BIM Framework principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Background in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering
