The Goal: OpenBet is seeking a Licensing Analyst to work closely with management to ensure compliance with all federal, state and tribal gaming licensing requirements, regulations, and ordinances as well as regulatory related reports and information. This role completes and submits all documentation related to gaming applications for OpenBet, its subsidiaries, management, and field personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all aspects of gaming licensing applications and/or gaming submissions including, but not limited to, business entity forms, exhibits and attachments, and key person application materials.
- Ensure timeliness, completeness and accuracy of each gaming application and report submitted on behalf of the company.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to assist in preparation of submissions and respond to regulatory inquiries.
- Prepare and update source documents used in applications and/or submissions.
- Maintain summary reports and/or database systems, including tracking status of applications and communications with regulatory agencies.
- Support company policies and procedures as related to licensing and make appropriate recommendations.
- Provide administrative support and field questions for internal business partners on licensing processes.
- Research licensing requirements by jurisdiction and resolve any potential issues or concerns.
- Interpret and comply with state gaming agency regulations and legislation, determine action required in consultation with the compliance team.
- Maintain and secure confidential information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associates degree, certified legal assistant, paralegal, or equivalent experience.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadline-driven projects.
- Comfort engaging with professionals at all levels at the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and internet research.
