Responsibilities
- Interact with clients and help solve client problems.
- Be conversant with problem solving, first principles thinking, data science model life cycle, metrics and deployments.
- Choose model solutions based on accuracy requirements, target operational environment and latency considerations.
- Conceptualize, formulate, code and deploy solutions to problems.
- Be conversant with using cloud computing depending on the target environment.
- Interact with clients and make sense of ambiguous problem statements.
- Work on client problems across domains such as RAG with LLMs (open source or commercial), Multiagent systems, locally resident Small Language Models, computer vision, speech, NLP, multilingual models, applied statistics, data mining or conventional machine learning models.
- Be conversant with at least two of the above areas, and be proficient in deep learning and conventional machine learning methods, with hands-on coding in Python and relevant libraries.
Qualifications/Experience
- PhD/Master’s/Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Operational Research, Statistics, or Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience with a proven track record in client interaction, ability to collaborate with engineering and business teams, and strength in formulation, solving and deploying Data Science models.
